Our
pastor, Rev Garth, was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Crozet when
he was twelve. After graduating from Albemarle High School, he completed his
undergraduate work at the University of Virginia where his future wife, Debby,
graduated in nursing.
Rev. Garth attended Fuller Theological Seminary before completing his religious training at Union Theological Seminary. He has served churches in North Carolina, Florida, Virginia and Tennessee. Debby Garth is very supportive of her husband's ministry and is an active participant in the life of the church.
The Garths have four grown children. They live in the 19th century Garth family home located off Barracks Road.
