The Staff of South Plains Presbyterian Church
David K. Garth has served
as pastor of South Plains Presbyterian Church since July 2006. Although born in Washington, DC, he claims
Virginia as his home. He and his wife,
Labrador retriever, and a cat live in an old farmhouse where they fend off
marauding deer and rabbits. Educated at UVa, Fuller Seminary and Union Presbyterian Seminary, his
previous pastorates were in North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, and
Tennessee. “One of the impressive and
intriguing things about South Plains is the variety of experiences people have
brought to Christ's church. I'm thrilled
to be part of the mix.”

Dana Lee has served as our
administrative assistant since 2009 and a member of South Plains since April
2001. You will find her in the church
office on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She lives
at Lake Monticello with her husband Mike, also a member of South Plains. Dana is looking forward to the new Kirk Hall
addition and the contribution it will make both in our congregation and in our
service to the community.
